Power

Industries in Odisha enjoy access to reliable and uninterrupted power supply, a crucial advantage for sustained industrial operations. In 2022-23, Odisha’s power infrastructure included a contracted capacity of 9,953 MW from captive sources and 7,780 MW from non-captive sources, providing robust energy support to industries across the state. With a diversified energy portfolio spanning thermal, hydro, wind, biomass, and solar power, Odisha is also steadily increasing its renewable energy capacity, ensuring both energy security and sustainability for industrial growth.
